Ductless A/C

Ductless A/C

What do you do if you have a boiler and want to add Air Conditioning to your home? You might think you’ll need to add ducts and go through a long and expensive remodeling process, but there are other ways. One solution is a Mini-Split system that provides cooling room-by-room. But what if you want central air conditioning in every room? A High Velocity system can offer you the convenience of central air without the headaches of extensive remodeling.

Mini-Split Air Conditioning

Mini-split systems are ideal if you need cooling in just one or a few rooms of a building. They are often used for supplemental cooling in rooms with a lot of electronic equipment that generates excess heat, like server rooms. They are also popular in European and Asian countries, where most buildings were designed without central air conditioning.

Like with most products, there are many brands available to you, each with unique features and looks. We always offer no-cost in-home consultations to help you choose the right solution with the right product.

One luxury model is LG’s Inverter. You’ll immediately see what makes it stand out in this advertisement:

High Velocity Air Conditioning

What is it?

High velocity systems are designed to provide central air conditioning in buildings where traditional forced-air ductwork isn’t a good option.

Who is it for?

High velocity applications are ideal for buildings with:

Hot Water Heat
Steam Heat
Electric Heat
Inadequate Ductwork
Radiant Floor Heat
Limited Space
Inadequate Cooling on Upper Levels

What makes this so great?

▶Fits in Any Space
▶Quiet Performance
▶Little or No Remodeling
▶Draft-Free, Even Temperature
▶Removes More Moisture
▶Matches Any Decor

How does it work?

This system fits where others can’t go. Walls that are too narrow to house regular ductwork can still fit the high-velocity system’s 2″ diameter supply tubing. They can be routed through ceilings, floors, and wall cavities. Modular air handlers and coils can be installed in ceilings, floors, crawlspaces, and closets and its flexible 2″ inner diameter supply tubing can be routed through existing ceiling, floor and wall cavities, eliminating metal ductwork. High velocity systems fit where conventional systems can’t and preserves the architectural aesthetics and integrity of any structure.
